This complete 4.2kVA off-grid hybrid solar system with Grid Assist is designed for apartments, villas and independent houses that need dependable battery backup during power cuts and want to use solar energy during the daytime without exporting electricity to the grid.

How the System Works

During Daytime

Solar power is first used to operate the connected home loads.

When solar generation is lower than the connected load, the inverter can use solar and grid power together through Grid Assist operation.

When sufficient solar energy is available, the system can:

  • Run the connected loads
  • Charge the LiFePOâ‚„ battery
  • Reduce electricity drawn from the grid

When the Battery Is Low

When the battery charge level becomes low but solar power is available, the inverter can continue operating in Solar + Grid sharing mode.

The inverter can support the connected loads while also charging the battery, depending on available solar power and system settings.

During a Power Cut

The 9.6kWh LiFePOâ‚„ battery supplies backup power to the connected essential loads.

When sunlight is available, the solar panels can continue supporting the loads and charging the battery.

No Net Metering or Grid Export Required

This system is suitable for customers who want to use solar energy within their property but do not want to sell surplus power to the electricity grid.
