1. Product Overview
The XTT 32700 is a rechargeable lithium iron phosphate cylindrical cell with a nominal voltage of 3.2V and a rated capacity of 6000mAh.
Each cell stores approximately 19.2Wh of energy. Its large cylindrical format provides considerably more capacity per cell than common 18650 and 21700 cells, helping reduce the number of parallel cells required for certain battery-pack designs.
LiFePO₄ chemistry is commonly used for solar storage, inverter batteries, electric mobility and backup-power applications because of its stable chemistry and suitability for repeated charging and discharging.
This listing is for an individual battery cell only. A complete battery pack requires a suitable LiFePO₄ BMS, correctly rated interconnections, insulation, mechanical support, a fuse and a compatible charger.

3. Cell Format and Dimensions
The cell carries both an XTT-32650-6000 model marking and a 32700-format marking.
| Marking | Typical meaning |
|---|---|
| 32 | Approximately 32mm cell diameter |
| 65 or 70 | Approximate cell length, depending on model convention |
| 6000 | Rated capacity of approximately 6000mAh |
| 3.2V | Nominal cell voltage |
| 19.2Wh | Rated stored energy |
Because the model and format markings use different length references, physically measure the cell before purchasing holders, busbars, spacers or enclosures.
Actual dimensions can also vary because of manufacturing tolerances, terminal shape and the insulating sleeve.
4. Example Battery-Pack Configurations
These cells can be connected in series and parallel to build compatible LiFePO₄ battery packs.
| Configuration | Nominal voltage | Capacity | Energy |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1S1P | 3.2V | 6Ah | 19.2Wh |
| 4S1P | 12.8V | 6Ah | 76.8Wh |
| 4S2P | 12.8V | 12Ah | 153.6Wh |
| 8S1P | 25.6V | 6Ah | 153.6Wh |
| 8S2P | 25.6V | 12Ah | 307.2Wh |
| 16S1P | 51.2V | 6Ah | 307.2Wh |
| 16S2P | 51.2V | 12Ah | 614.4Wh |
Final usable capacity and energy depend on cell matching, discharge current, temperature, BMS settings, wiring losses and the permitted operating-voltage range.
5. Suitable Applications
This 32700 LiFePO₄ cell may be suitable for compatible battery packs used in:
- Solar-energy storage systems
- Inverter and UPS batteries
- Rechargeable emergency lights
- Electric scooters and bicycles
- E-rickshaws and mobility equipment
- Portable power systems
- Robotics and automated equipment
- Marine and recreational batteries
- Backup-power installations
- DIY 12.8V, 25.6V and 51.2V LiFePO₄ packs
- Battery repair and replacement projects
- Industrial rechargeable battery systems
Suitability for a particular application depends on the verified charging, continuous-discharge and peak-discharge ratings of the cell.
6. Charging and BMS Compatibility
Use this cell only with charging and protection equipment designed for LiFePO₄ chemistry.
- Use a charger with a LiFePO₄ charging profile.
- A single LiFePO₄ cell is normally charged to a maximum of 3.65V.
- Use a BMS matching the exact number of series-connected cells.
- A 4S pack normally requires a 14.6V LiFePO₄ charger.
- An 8S pack normally requires a 29.2V LiFePO₄ charger.
- A 16S pack normally requires a 58.4V LiFePO₄ charger.
- Select the BMS according to the required continuous and peak current.
- Ensure all cells are voltage-matched before connecting them in series.
- Do not use a BMS intended only for 3.6V or 3.7V lithium-ion cells.
- Confirm the exact charging and discharging limits before finalising the battery design.
7. Battery-Pack Assembly Guidance
- Measure the voltage of every cell before assembly.
- Use cells of the same model, capacity, age and condition in one pack.
- Capacity-test and internal-resistance-match the cells.
- Bring all cells to closely matched voltages before connecting them.
- Confirm the positive and negative terminals before welding.
- Use suitable holders or mechanical supports for the actual cell dimensions.
- Use correctly rated busbars, nickel strips or copper interconnections.
- Avoid soldering directly to the cell unless specifically permitted.
- Use an appropriate welding or mechanical-connection method.
- Fit insulation rings and fish-paper barriers around the terminals.
- Prevent the interconnections from contacting the metal cell casing.
- Install an appropriately rated fuse near the battery-pack positive terminal.
- Secure the completed pack against movement, vibration and impact.
- Use a compatible LiFePO₄ BMS before charging or operating the pack.
- Insulate every exposed electrical connection.
8. Important Current-Rating Note
The 6000mAh capacity indicates the amount of charge the cell can store. It does not independently establish the cell’s safe current rating.
A 3C marking is visible on the cell. If this represents its discharge rating, the theoretical value would be:
6Ah × 3C = 18A
However, this should not be treated as a guaranteed continuous-current rating without checking the exact manufacturer datasheet, operating temperature, cutoff voltage and thermal conditions.
The safe current of the completed battery system is determined by the lowest-rated component, including:
- Battery cells
- BMS
- Busbars or nickel strips
- Power cables
- Connectors
- Fuse
- Charger
- Connected load
9. Safety Information
- Do not short-circuit the cell terminals.
- Do not reverse the cell polarity.
- Do not puncture, crush, open or mechanically damage the cell.
- Do not expose the cell to fire, excessive heat or direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Do not charge above the verified maximum voltage.
- Do not discharge below the verified minimum voltage.
- Do not use a damaged, swollen, leaking, corroded or unusually hot cell.
- Do not mix cells of different models, capacities, ages or conditions.
- Keep the insulating sleeve intact.
- Do not transport loose cells together with conductive metal objects.
- Store cells in a cool, dry and electrically insulated location.
- Use a compatible BMS and fuse in every assembled battery pack.
- Battery-pack assembly should be performed by someone familiar with lithium-battery wiring, insulation and safety.
